I have always held an appreciation for fine art and have always held the idea of great attention to detail to high regard. I have also always respected new technologies and what they may bring to different fields including art and design. Below are two of my attempts at digital painting using a graphic tablet. Consideration for attention to detail was very much my intention during both of their creation.
Beauty Lies Within The Eye Of The Beholder, and the quality of beauty lies on how the beholder values an object. I hold this particular digital painting dear to me as it is a big part of my transition as an artist and designer to a digital platform. This is my first attempt at a digital painting / illustration, utilising a Wacom graphics tablet and the Adobe Photoshop brush tool.
Patience is a virtue that I take pride in having, allowing me to take my time to create, amend and actually think about the marks I am making on a canvas - it also allows me to take a step back and see exactly where a new layer needs to be added, or where an area of the artwork needs to be built upon.
